About the Role
Aramark Canada is seeking dedicated Housekeepers to maintain exceptional cleanliness standards at a remote lodge near Fort McMurray, AB. Ideal candidates will bring a professional background in both residential and commercial cleaning, focusing on creating hygienic and welcoming environments for guests. This opportunity involves cleaning up to 40+ rooms daily with a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, efficient, and positive service to clients, guests, and team members.
- Ensure all assigned areas and corridors remain clean, neat, and sanitary, adhering to safety and preventative maintenance policies.
- Apply appropriate cleaning techniques according to training guidelines.
- Operate housekeeping equipment and use cleaning solutions safely and effectively.
- Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies using required methods.
- Handle disposal of trash and biohazardous materials following universal precaution standards.
- Maintain well-stocked carts with properly labeled chemicals and functioning equipment.
- Foster professional conduct and promote effective communication within the team and across departments.
- Contribute to improving departmental productivity and operational efficiency.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and comply with training commitments.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, management, and support staff.
- Adaptability to manage changing priorities and demands.
Additional Information
- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged standing or walking.
- Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
- Transportation is provided from Edmonton, AB to the site.
- Work rotation consists of 20 days onsite followed by 10 days off.

- Employment contingent upon passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol test as well as a criminal background screening.
