About the Role

Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Hostess to join their Food & Beverage team. The Hostess plays a key role in welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality expected at this award-winning luxury property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare table tops and tent cards in accordance with restaurant standards during opening procedures.
• Ensure all table items are clean and well-maintained.
• Organize the seating plan aligned with reservations and management directives.
• Clean chair and sofa cushions regularly.
• Set up the hostess desk to meet Emirates Palace requirements.
• Warmly greet guests and seat them according to established standards.
• Support service activities as directed by the Restaurant Manager.
• Handle telephone bookings and guest inquiries following company protocols.
• Keep management informed of any guest feedback or complaints.
• Collect and clean table items at closing in line with standards.
• Remain present in the restaurant throughout service hours.
• Maintain clean menus, drink lists, and guest materials.
• Assist in recording and maintaining guest history data.
• Participate in meetings, briefings, and training sessions as required.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance consistent with company grooming standards.

Candidate Requirements

• At least one year of experience as a Hostess in a luxury hotel environment, with resort experience being advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a professional attitude.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Proficiency in multiple languages is preferred, with fluency in Russian considered a significant asset.
