Role Overview

The Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing asset management strategies within the hospitality portfolio to ensure maximal return on investment. This position involves comprehensive oversight of financial performance, operational governance, and strategic liaison with hotel operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute asset management plans aimed at optimizing revenue and controlling costs for hospitality properties.
• Monitor and analyze financial metrics including budgets and KPIs across all assets under management.
• Manage relationships with hotel operators by acting as the main point of contact, overseeing contract negotiations, including Hotel Management Agreements, and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
• Lead financial planning efforts such as annual business plans, forecasts, and variance analyses to aid in investment and valuation decisions.
• Supervise capital projects like renovations and asset repositioning, ensuring projects are completed within schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Produce regular performance reports for senior leadership and implement governance frameworks for operational and financial control.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
• 15 to 18 years of total professional experience.
• Previous experience in real estate asset management particularly within the hospitality segment or with international hotel brands.
• Background in hospitality or related sectors.
