General Manager

Overview

We are seeking a General Manager and Business Development Director to be based in Saudi Arabia, reporting directly to the Board. The role focuses on expanding business operations across the Middle East, particularly in events, sports, entertainment, and temporary infrastructure sectors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead commercial growth by identifying and engaging potential clients, securing contracts, managing the sales pipeline, and meeting revenue and EBITDA targets.
• Establish and nurture strategic relationships with governmental bodies, key customers, investors, and regional partners to enhance the company's market position.
• Organize and manage the local team and administrative functions, ensuring effective governance, compliance, and operational support to facilitate business expansion.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar fields, supplemented by an MBA focusing on Business Management, Projects, or Commercial Strategy.
• Significant executive experience demonstrating a successful track record in international business development.
• Familiarity with the Middle East or other emerging markets is essential.
• Background experience in large-scale sporting events, entertainment industry, modular construction, or temporary infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is mandatory, while knowledge of Spanish and Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally, with residency required within the Middle East.
