Role Overview

We are seeking passionate educators to teach English remotely to students from Years 9 to 12, covering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 programs. This fully remote position enables you to work from anywhere in New Zealand while contributing to a vibrant, supportive educational community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspiring live online English sessions five days weekly.
• Design and execute personalised learning paths to match student needs.
• Establish trust and rapport with students in a virtual setting.
• Collaborate with a team of skilled, innovative educators.
• Support learners’ academic growth using differentiated instructional methods.
• Deliver thorough formative and summative assessments including meaningful feedback and guidance aligned to curriculum standards.
• Engage proactively in curriculum team development and advancement.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with parents and caregivers to enhance student learning.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold valid New Zealand Teaching Registration.
• Possess an English teaching qualification along with demonstrated subject proficiency.
• In-depth knowledge of the NCEA curriculum at Levels 2 and 3.
• Excellent communication capabilities and comfort utilizing digital technologies.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience teaching IGCSE curriculum is advantageous.
• Familiarity with online or blended learning environments is highly regarded.
• Comfortable navigating educational technology tools.
