Full Stack Developer (Laravel & React)

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer to architect, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using Laravel for backend and React for frontend development. This position involves developing secure APIs, creating responsive and user-centric interfaces, and ensuring smooth integration between server-side and client-side components.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications leveraging Laravel (PHP) and React (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Design, build, and optimize RESTful APIs with seamless frontend integration.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented source code while adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with design teams to develop responsive and intuitive UI/UX features.
• Ensure the security, performance efficiency, and scalability of applications.
• Manage relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, writing optimized queries.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues across various environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies, frameworks, and current best practices in full-stack development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of extensive experience in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency in backend development using Laravel (PHP).
• Advanced skills in React.js and its ecosystem components such as Redux, Hooks, and optionally Next.js.
• Strong grasp of RESTful API design and JSON data interchange formats.
• Experience with relational database management using MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Git version control systems and familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Understanding of frontend tooling such as Webpack, Babel, npm, and Yarn.
• Applicants must currently reside in Qatar.
