Role Overview
Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana is seeking a proactive and self-driven Front Office professional to join the team as a Front Desk Agent. In this role, you will deliver polished, guest-centred service and help ensure every stay is smooth, welcoming, and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fast, polite, and efficient service to guests from arrival to departure, with a focus on personal attention and high satisfaction.
- Welcome guests by name whenever possible and accompany them to their room so they feel anticipated and comfortable.
- Offer in-room and hotel familiarisation support and respond to guest enquiries and requests related to hotel activities.
- Keep current with hotel details and local services, including opening hours, offers, events, attractions, and other useful information for guest queries.
- Track daily room rates and occupancy levels to support accurate front office operations.
- Handle front desk cashiering duties correctly and follow all established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Manage guest accounts from check-in through check-out and ensure all incidental charges are posted accurately in the front office system.
- Protect guest privacy by ensuring personal information is not disclosed.
- Maintain a solid understanding of hotel policies, procedures, service standards, facilities, and current happenings.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a degree in hospitality and have prior experience in the Front Office department of a hotel. Strong written and spoken English is required, and knowledge of an additional language is also important. Prior exposure to Opera and good computer skills will be an advantage.
