Freelance Lecturer in Digital Marketing

Overview

Located in Berlin, the BSBI School of Business and Innovation is seeking a Freelance Lecturer to teach Digital Marketing. This position is offered as a part-time freelance role with a flexible engagement model, allowing you the opportunity to contribute to academic activities while having autonomy over your work schedule. The pay rate is €50 per hour.

Key Duties

• Deliver teaching sessions as per the assigned curriculum and schedule.
• Develop or update curricula and instructional materials such as presentations to enhance learning.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students for skill development aligned with course objectives.
• Prepare students for exams through formative and summative assessments.
• Maintain consistent communication with students, offering regular feedback on their academic progress.
• Supervise dissertations, projects, and internships, following academic standards.
• Engage proactively in promoting the school through scholarly activities and thought leadership.
• Participate in institutional academic duties assigned by faculty leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

• Holder of a PhD or equivalent degree with demonstrated theoretical and practical knowledge in digital marketing or related domain.
• Expertise with practical tools and techniques relevant to your field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Windows operating systems.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, at C2 proficiency level.
• Strong organizational skills, clear communication, and high social competence.
• Ability to manage high workloads while maintaining overview and flexibility.
• Resilient character with adaptability to changing demands.
• Preferred qualifications include scientific publications, prior university-level teaching experience, professional background in digital marketing, familiarity with educational platforms such as Canvas or Blackboard, and understanding of study regulations.
