Forklift Operator / Store Person

Position Summary

We are looking to hire two diligent and dependable Store Persons/Forklift Operators to become part of our Stores & Procurement team. Reporting to the Store Supervisor, this role is critical in guaranteeing that safe, efficient, accurate, and consistent store activities and inventory management are executed according to Quality Assurance standards and Work, Health & Safety along with procurement policies and procedures.

Key Duties

• Efficiently pick and process daily requisitions using an RF scanner.
• Operate a forklift safely following all safety protocols.
• Unload incoming materials and conduct quality assurance inspections.
• Regularly perform stocktaking and manage stock rotation.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and organization within the warehouse.
• Uphold high standards of safety, accuracy, service, and productivity throughout daily operations.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a warehouse or store environment.
• Possession of a current LF Forklift Licence and a current Driver's Licence.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
• Availability to commence work from 7:00 AM daily.
• Strong commitment to safety at all times.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good numeracy skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately interpret and comply with policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Physically fit to perform all role requirements as confirmed by a pre-employment medical assessment.
• Completion of Certificate III in Warehousing Operations is highly advantageous.
• Candidates must agree to undergo QFever testing and vaccination if deemed necessary.
