Role Overview

We are inviting applications for a Food Runner to join the vibrant front-of-house team at Arcade Covent Garden, one of London’s newest and most exciting dining destinations. The role demands delivering exceptional guest service in a lively, globally inspired dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently transporting food and drinks from the kitchen and bar to dining tables.
• Engaging professionally and confidently with guests.
• Managing and updating cleaning timetables, records, and checklists.
• Possessing thorough knowledge of the available food and beverage selections.
• Strictly following all food safety, health, and safety policies and standards.
• Providing hospitality with enthusiasm, positivity, and a friendly attitude.
• Ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborating closely with kitchen and bar personnel.
• Opportunity to be cross-trained in various restaurant functions.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in a similar role such as Food or Bar Runner, ideally in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• A genuine passion for food, service, and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive team player able to remain calm, confident, and multitask under pressure.
• A warm, approachable personality that naturally connects with guests and colleagues.
