Role Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant will join the Canberra Domestic Lounges team, responsible for delivering outstanding food and beverage service to guests in a friendly and efficient manner within the Qantas Club and Business Lounge at Canberra Airport. The lounge is a cozy dining area catering to passengers’ needs with high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly, while maintaining tidiness in all service zones.
- Ensuring hygiene standards for food handling and presentation are consistently met.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and promoting workplace health and safety practices.
Work Schedule
The role requires availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster with shifts primarily starting early mornings from 4:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and afternoon shifts from 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience working in a fast-paced hospitality or food and beverage environment.
- Availability for a full-time schedule including mornings and afternoons on a rotating basis.
- Valid Australian work rights.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Ability to successfully pass a federal police background security check.
- Possession of a probationary or full driver's license.
- Full availability to meet shift requirements.
