Fiber Field Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a Fiber Field Engineer specializing in splicing and fiber optic wiring to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with fiber optic cables including splicing, jointing, termination, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance at various field locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform splicing, jointing, and termination of fiber optic cables.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic network infrastructure.
• Manage OLT/ONT and FTTH field devices and operations.
• Diagnose and resolve fiber faults and connectivity challenges effectively.
• Conduct OTDR testing and ensure accurate fiber documentation.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and quality standards while working onsite.
• Operate at diverse field locations as dictated by project needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in fiber splicing, wiring, or FTTH networks is advantageous.
• Fundamental understanding of fiber optic systems and relevant tools.
• Ability to handle on-field troubleshooting efficiently.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various field sites.
• Possession of a valid driving license and bike ownership is preferred.
• Educational qualifications: ITI, Diploma, or completion of 10th-12th with pertinent experience.

Compensation and Employment Details

This is a full-time, field-based position offering a monthly salary ranging from ₹20,000 to ₹25,000, supplemented with additional incentives.
