Role Scope and Opportunities
From your first day, you will engage with elite hedge fund and quant technology clients holding active search mandates, inherit a warm desk with established accounts and candidate networks, and handle six-figure fee mandates. Mentorship from multi-six and seven-figure billers ensures support, while you work in a search-focused environment prioritizing depth and precision over volume. This role offers proven execution frameworks to quickly establish your credibility in a new market, with immediate performance expectations rather than gradual desk building.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee retained and contingent executive search mandates within the global hedge fund and quant technology sectors.
- Manage the entire search lifecycle including headhunting, candidate evaluation, and final placement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates, acting as an extension of the clients’ internal teams.
- Build strong credibility with senior stakeholders swiftly in new markets.
- Conduct structured, retained search processes tailored for top-tier funds.
- Identify and successfully attract outstanding talent in quantitative and technology domains.
- Operate with high levels of attention to detail, discretion, and commercial awareness.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in executive or retained search, managing end-to-end mandates from briefing through placement.
- Demonstrated track record of consistent billings and maintaining client relationships.
- Skilled in headhunting, market mapping, and closing high-level senior candidates.
- A strong consultative approach to building client partnerships.
- Experience launching into new markets or quickly establishing credibility.
- Backgrounds from finance, medical, legal, HR, compliance, or professional services are advantageous.
- Exposure to US markets is beneficial but not compulsory.
