Toloka AI focuses on supporting frontier AI models post-training by creating domain-specific environments, tasks, and evaluation frameworks crafted by expert practitioners.

Mindrift is launching a Management Consulting vertical that transforms genuine consulting engagements into structured scenarios for advanced AI learning. This team is formed of seasoned strategy consultants from top consulting firms, converting real project experience into comprehensive example workflows including problem definition, analysis, synthesis, and client-ready recommendations.

Role Overview

You will be part of an expanding group shaping AI’s understanding of complex business reasoning. This is a remote, part-time, individual contributor position centered on analytical design and evaluation, working on creating realistic consulting project environments and AI training tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Create realistic consulting project scenarios reflecting actual engagement complexities including industry context, financial data, constraints, and conflicting or incomplete information.
Break down consulting projects into discrete, structured tasks for AI agents, covering areas like market sizing, due diligence, cost optimization, growth strategy, operational diagnostics, and benchmarking.
Develop evaluation frameworks by defining grading rubrics and golden-answer solutions to train and calibrate AI grading systems that assess AI output quality.

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum three years of direct experience at premier strategy consulting firms such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY-Parthenon, Kearney, or Strategy&.
Hands-on expertise in structuring ambiguous client challenges into clear analytical plans, developing financial or market models, synthesizing complex information, and producing client-ready deliverables within tight timelines.
Strong abilities in structured problem-solving and hypothesis-driven reasoning.
Competence in transforming vague problems into defined analytical steps and outputs with high logical consistency.
Independent work ethic and comfortable managing tasks autonomously.
Proficient written English communication skills (B2 level or above).
No advanced technical background necessary; onboarding to required tools will be provided.

Compensation

Contributors may earn up to $60 per hour equivalent, based on their expertise and contribution pace. Rates vary by project scope and complexity, with other platform opportunities potentially offering different remuneration levels.
