Role Overview

This full-time remote position is designed for an Entry Level Software Engineer who will support Parasoleil’s design, project management, and operational software tools. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining clean, efficient code, engaging in code review processes, troubleshooting bugs, and collaborating with senior engineers and other teams. The role also involves contributing to web applications, integrating internal systems, documenting processes, and enhancing digital tools for the architecture and design community.

Qualifications and Skills

• Solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Practical experience in programming and object-oriented programming using languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Basic familiarity with software development workflows including version control (e.g., Git), testing, and debugging methodologies.
• Introductory knowledge of back-end web development including APIs, database usage, and server-side frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies, adherence to coding standards, and effective communication while working in a remote team setting.
• Communicative, cooperative, and focused on problem-solving.
• An interest in architecture, design, or building technology is advantageous.
