About the Role
Home Health Focus AI aims to connect home healthcare professionals with rewarding roles that emphasize patient care. This is not a recruitment agency and does not directly hire; instead, it verifies opportunities directly from care providers. The current opening is for a DSN Scheduler position, working fully remotely in the United States, contingent upon contract award.
The DSN Scheduler will coordinate scheduling communications for spacecraft missions via NASA's Deep Space Network (DSN) antennas, acting as the project’s liaison with DSN predicts teams, scheduling software admins, and process owners. This role requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create requirements using Request/Requirement & Control Language (R&CL) and input event data into Service Scheduling Software (SSS) for initial schedule generation.
- Engage in conflict resolution negotiations with DSN users to optimize scientific data return.
- Maintain spacecraft support requirements, flight view periods, and scheduling guidelines.
- Coordinate and deliver accurate DSN view periods and mission documentation for Resource Allocation Review (RAR) analysis.
- Assist in preparing responses for proposals and project meetings.
- Compile weekly scheduling status reports.
- Provide schedule visualizations, reports, and data sorts as needed.
- Maintain communication and coordination with Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) on scheduling matters.
- Operate and test tools such as internet utilities, Common Allocation and Scheduling Tool (CAST), Service Preparation Subsystem (SPS), SSS, and internal scripts.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Experience with computer systems and application software, including UNIX environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent productivity tools.
- Technical writing skills and effective interpersonal abilities.
- Disciplined, professional, highly organized, and a team-oriented work ethic.
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- At least three years of network scheduling experience or three years of related flight project involvement.
- Familiarity with Common Allocation and Scheduling Tool (CAST), Service Preparation Subsystem (SPS), and Service Scheduling Software (SSS).
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range for this position is approximately $58,300 to $87,400 annually, depending on factors like contract affordability, location, and candidate credentials.
- Potential for additional compensation including bonuses, commissions, sign-on bonuses, relocation incentives, and performance awards as per company policy.
