Job Overview

The Driller role is tasked with supporting field drilling operations by operating drilling machinery and assisting in the execution of drilling activities. This position emphasizes safe and efficient operation, equipment functionality, and aiding the overall drilling team.

Primary Duties

• Operate drilling machinery under guidance from the Senior Driller.
• Assist in the implementation of drilling programs while monitoring key parameters such as drilling speed, depth, and equipment status.
• Troubleshoot operational challenges promptly.
• Inspect drilling equipment regularly and report any malfunctions.
• Contribute to basic maintenance tasks, cleaning, and proper storage of equipment.
• Handle drilling tools, pipes, and materials, and help prepare and set up the drilling site.
• Ensure the drilling site remains clean and safe.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies including use of personal protective equipment.
• Identify and report potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and any incidents.
• Maintain accurate drilling logs, operational records, and compulsory reports.
