Role Overview

This position is responsible for delivering orders to dispensaries efficiently while following company processes, state compliance rules, and safety standards. It is a hands-on, fast-moving role that includes frequent lifting, lowering, and carrying of packages weighing at least 50 lbs, along with safe operation of cargo vans and regular vehicle entry and exit under tight timelines.

Key Duties

Keep outgoing orders accurate and ensure all activities remain aligned with state regulations.
Load the van with product for delivery and unload items for customers.
Inspect company vehicles and related supplies regularly to support safe travel.
Take vehicles for scheduled maintenance as required.
Track the daily inventory loaded onto the van.
Prepare and maintain records according to company procedures and state compliance rules when the Compliance Admin is unavailable.
Make sure manifests are fully complete and accurate.
Use delivery routes prepared by the Compliance Administrator; if no admin is available, create and manage delivery routing yourself.
Handle standard customer issues and act as the communication link between the company and the customer, including reporting concerns in an end-of-shift update.
Deliver products in a way that meets customer expectations and matches contract terms and service requirements.
Work with the manager and salesperson to improve route efficiency and strengthen existing customer relationships.
Operate vehicles in line with OSHA, DOT, and all other applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Protect company tools, equipment, property, and PPE.
Keep all work areas clean and orderly.
Attend required training sessions and support additional production tasks as assigned.
Report inventory stock, account-related issues, and positive dispensary feedback.
Support the production team during downtime when delivery hours are not fully needed.
Follow all production SOPs and look for ways to improve efficiency.
Apply labels to packages and confirm finished-product labels comply with state rules.
Prepare materials for production, processing, and assembly by weighing cannabis and related materials on a certified scale and placing them into the correct bins, bags, or storage containers.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the processing area and help clean equipment and the workplace at the end of each day.
Assist with daily production activities and complete tasks assigned by the Lead or Manager.
Support team objectives by completing related work as needed.
Follow company and plant safety programs, rules, guidelines, and regulations.
Manage time efficiently to meet productivity targets while consistently delivering quality work.

Experience and Education

2 to 3 years of experience driving large vehicles is required.
2 to 3 years of experience in commercial deliveries is required.
2 to 3 years of merchandising experience is preferred.
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Additional Requirements

Proof of a clean driving record for the last 5 years is mandatory.
Must meet Federal Department of Transportation requirements, including the correct driver’s license and the relevant safety and medical certification.
Must agree to a criminal background check by the company and/or the State Department of Health Services.
Employment depends on eligibility to be insured as a driver on a company vehicle and approval for a cannabis badge from state authorities.

Full-Time Benefits

Insurance benefits begin on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment. Coverage includes health insurance, dental insurance, and vision insurance, with the company paying up to 50% of employee premiums for each. Additional protection includes long-term disability, AD&D life insurance, critical illness cover, hospital indemnity, accident protection, and a company-provided basic life insurance policy worth $50,000.

Time-off benefits include at least 10 paid holidays each calendar year, sick time available after 90 days of employment, vacation time available after the first year of employment, and paid parental leave available after the first year of employment.
