Dispatcher

About the Role

We are hiring a Dispatcher to remotely support an independent sales agent for a publicly traded global logistics company operating in the US market. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $1,000 USD per month with standard working hours Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 24:00 CET (10am-6pm NY time). The role is open to candidates residing in Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia, or the Balkans region.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hourly real-time location updates for drivers and verify that pickups and deliveries are on schedule.
• Communicate proactively and assertively with drivers or their dispatch contacts via phone and email to identify and resolve any delay causes such as vehicle issues, adverse weather, or traffic delays.
• Deliver professional and timely status updates exclusively through email to customers, reporting any delays promptly without direct phone contact with clients.
• Obtain and deliver signed Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to customers within one hour after a load has been delivered.
• Perform supplementary administrative and dispatch duties as necessary to maintain efficient daily operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in logistics, dispatch operations, customer service, or related fields is highly advantageous.
• Strong verbal communication skills to assertively follow up with drivers and excellent written English for professional client email correspondence.
• Keen problem-solving skills with attention to detail to anticipate transit challenges and communicate delays rapidly.
• Familiarity with email systems, Google Workspace or Microsoft Office suites, and general freight tracking platforms.
• Reliable internet access and a quiet workspace conducive to making regular outgoing dispatch calls.
