Job Overview
Become a key member of our vibrant hospitality team as a Dishwasher, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly kitchen area. You'll be responsible for thoroughly cleaning all dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools to meet stringent food safety and hygiene standards. Your enthusiastic approach and keen eye for detail will enhance the overall dining experience by supporting the culinary team in providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Utilize commercial dishwashing machines to efficiently clean dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchenware while ensuring safety.
- Systematically sort and arrange cleaned items for storage or immediate use by kitchen or serving staff.
- Provide assistance with basic food preparation tasks, including organizing supplies and maintaining tidy workstations.
- Adhere rigorously to food handling and sanitation protocols to uphold kitchen health standards.
- Assist the culinary team by supplying clean dishes and utensils promptly during peak service times.
- Keep dishwashing areas—including sinks, counters, and adjacent spaces—clean and orderly.
- Work closely with kitchen personnel to maintain efficient operations and uphold hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Capability to remain standing for long durations and perform physically demanding tasks energetically and effectively.
- High attention to detail to guarantee thorough cleaning, sanitization, and proper organization of items.
- Knowledge of food handling or kitchen operations is a plus; familiarity with hotel or food service contexts is beneficial.
- Strong team spirit and positive attitude towards assisting co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
- Dedication to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
Compensation and Benefits
