Director of Logistics and Supply Chain

Hakoware by Harvest Pack Inc is a prominent manufacturer and distributor specializing in environmentally friendly food packaging solutions supplied to restaurants and food service providers across the nation. We are seeking a Director of Logistics and Supply Chain to oversee the entire supply chain process from demand forecasting to final delivery. This role focuses on integrating forecasting, inventory control, logistics operations, and system management to promote business growth, enhance service dependability, and optimize working capital efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary accountable leader for supply chain performance and outcomes.
• Convert sales forecast data into actionable supply and inventory strategies.
• Lead cross-functional Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with Sales and Finance teams.
• Manage forecast accuracy and governance, defining safety stock levels, reorder points, and inventory objectives.
• Minimize stock shortages and excess inventory while improving inventory turnover and cash flow predictability.
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics strategies, including carrier selection and third-party logistics (3PL) performance management.
• Control logistics costs, increase transit reliability, and reduce emergency freight usage.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and proper documentation.
• Oversee ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and planning process effectiveness.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuous improvement initiatives to establish scalable and disciplined operational processes.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), food manufacturing, or large-scale production sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and freight operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage S&OP processes.
• Hands-on experience using ERP and WMS systems.
• Strong analytical skills and leadership capabilities.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $145,000 to $160,000.
