About the Role

We are seeking a confident and proactive Digital Advertising Specialist and Client Account Manager to join our marketing team. This position is based in Ashburton or Timaru office with some flexibility for remote work. The role is permanent and offers full-time or part-time hours tailored for the right candidate. This role combines hands-on digital campaign management with direct client interaction and relationship ownership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead contact for a portfolio of New Zealand business owners by conducting client meetings, establishing strong relationships, and ensuring continuous client engagement.
  • Manage the daily execution and optimization of digital advertising campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and ChatGPT platforms.
  • Oversee advertising budgets and provide performance reporting that translates complex metrics into clear, actionable insights and suggestions.
  • Continuously test, analyze, and improve campaigns to maximize return on investment and lead generation.
  • Identify emerging digital trends and competitive activities to proactively discover new opportunities for clients.
  • Occasionally contribute to content creation, such as social media posts and landing page adjustments.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years' experience in performance or digital marketing roles, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Demonstrated capability managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • Proven expertise in running Meta, TikTok, and Google advertising campaigns.
  • Competent in configuring tracking systems across various platforms and websites.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable strategies from data beyond basic reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain marketing concepts in simple terms to small business owners.
  • Possesses a good sense of humor and is keen to contribute actively to the team environment.
