Design Engineer

Role Overview

The Design Engineer will be responsible for creating comprehensive designs for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including both rooftop and ground-mounted installations. This role involves technical assessments, detailed system layouts, and collaboration across different teams to ensure optimal and compliant solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and analyze data on solar resource availability.
• Create system layouts using design software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, or PVsyst.
• Perform calculations related to system sizing, energy yield, and performance ratios.
• Develop single-line diagrams and detailed electrical designs for solar PV systems.
• Ensure all designs meet local regulations, safety codes, and standards.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, installation teams, and clients to support project development.
• Work on optimizing system performance and cost-efficiency throughout the design process.
• Prepare technical documents, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and project proposals.
• Provide technical support during project execution and assist in resolving any design-related issues.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration for this position ranges between 12,000 and 20,000 INR.
