Job Description

We are seeking two committed and dependable Design Engineers - Automotive (m/w/d) to join our Gelnhausen, Germany location as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities

Designing components, conducting analyses, and evaluating risks using systematic techniques such as FMEA, FEA, construction reviews, 8D, fault tree analysis, validation testing, and lifetime calculations.
Advancing and modifying products adhering to APQP processes and associated tools and systems.
Developing feasibility studies, reviewing drawings, and preparing technical reports.
Preparing and leading technical presentations both internally and with clients.

Required Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a University of Applied Sciences or Bachelor's level; additional technical vocational training is advantageous.
Experience in design and development, preferably within the automotive sector.
Strong analytical skills for investigating complex issues and structured problem-solving.
Proficiency in mechanical design and drawing creation using SolidWorks.
Knowledge of tolerance analyses and confident handling of GD&T standards.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
High self-initiative, able to work independently with goal-oriented focus.
Fluent German and English skills (negotiation-level).
