Deputy Manager - Business Analytics (MLOps/DevOps Engineer)

About the Role

Allianz Commercial is seeking a skilled MLOps/DevOps Engineer to facilitate the deployment, delivery, and operational management of machine learning models and AI solutions at scale. The role emphasizes engineering excellence, automation, and ensuring reliability so that AI workflows operate seamlessly in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for ML model deployment utilizing tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Containerize and orchestrate AI and machine learning workloads through Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
• Oversee complete ML deployment pipelines, from packaging models to rolling them out in production.
• Implement and manage model registries, version control, and automated workflows to promote model versions.
• Establish monitoring and observability systems with Dynatrace to monitor model performance, detect data drift, and maintain system health.
• Provide operational support including log analysis, troubleshooting, resolving incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
• Handle cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services, especially Azure AI Foundry for deploying AI workloads.
• Automate triggers for model retraining and deployment workflows to optimize operations.
• Ensure compliance and governance within deployment pipelines, including maintaining audit trails, enforcing access controls, and guaranteeing reproducibility.
• Work collaboratively with data scientists and AI engineers to ensure efficient handoff and readiness of models for production environments.

Required Expertise

• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem, particularly Azure AI Foundry and related AI services.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell for automation tasks.
• Hands-on knowledge of MLOps tools, including model registries, feature stores, and pipeline orchestration frameworks.
• Expertise in observability platforms like Dynatrace for monitoring, alerting, dashboard creation, and log analysis.
• Capability in operations tasks such as log inspection, incident management, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of data pipelines and streaming, including Kafka for data ingestion processes.
• Knowledge about AI governance, deployment controls, compliance regulations, and audit trail maintenance.
