About the Role

Key Duties
- Provide preventative dental care, including professional cleanings and treatments tailored to Defence Forces members in diverse settings.

- Deliver oral hygiene education, emphasizing proper techniques, nutrition, and preventative measures to maintain long-term dental health.
- Maintain detailed dental records confidentially, adhering to Defence Forces policies and healthcare regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- Must possess a recognised qualification in dental hygiene and hold full registration with the Irish Dental Council (IDC).
- Experience in dental care environments is preferred, especially clinical or military settings, but is not mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, resilience in high-pressure contexts, and commitment to excellent patient care.
- Flexibility and adaptability to function effectively within the dynamic and challenging military environment.
