Demi Chef De Partie - Lounges & Premium Operations

Role Overview

The Demi Chef De Partie is tasked with managing a specific kitchen section daily within a dedicated team, focusing on the lounge operations. This role requires ensuring the highest quality, safety standards, and presentation in the preparation and service of food to premium passengers. Maintaining exemplary personal and professional standards with a positive customer-focused approach is essential.

Key Duties

• Adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene protocols established by the company.
• Assisting in the onboarding and training of new Commis Chefs and staff members.
• Actively participating in team meetings and shift briefings.
• Helping prepare menu items and engaging in buffet presentation.
• Supporting menu order preparation, submitting them to the Sous Chef for review and finalization.
• Coordinating with stores and other departments to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
• Assigning tasks to chefs and maintaining appropriate staffing levels per shift.
• Implementing FIFO inventory methods in stores and production areas.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication within the kitchen team.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications

• Completed high school education.
• At least two years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Ability to encourage and support team collaboration effectively.
