About the Role

We are seeking a Demand & Financial Planning Analyst to join a partner company's expanding finance team in the United States. This role focuses on leveraging data-driven insights to influence business strategies in demand planning, financial analysis, and forecasting. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to optimize inventory, drive revenue performance, and support the company's long-term growth objectives. The position provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment promoting ownership, innovation, and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities

Examine retail sales performance across various sales channels and distribution partners, working closely with commercial and supply chain teams to aid inventory management and demand forecasting.
Create and update demand planning models projecting inventory requirements, sales patterns, product mix, and gross margin outcomes.
Track product costs and analyze profitability trends, offering insights on gross margin variations across the product range.
Collaborate with finance and business units to assess operational efficiency, uncover trends, and provide actionable financial analysis.
Develop financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, guide revenue planning, and inform strategic decisions.
Support the creation of long-term financial plans, improve forecasting processes, and refine planning tools and reporting practices.
Identify areas to streamline finance processes through the use of technology, automation, and analytics best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis or comparable analytical finance roles.
Strong advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis.
Experience with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems.
Sound knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to convert complex data into actionable business insights.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-department collaboration.
Highly organized, self-driven, detail-focused with capability to juggle multiple priorities within a rapidly evolving setting.
Proactive in recognizing and implementing process improvements and technological solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
