About the Role
Diagnomics (Opc) Private Limited is seeking to recruit a Delivery Executive to join their team, operating primarily out of Chromepet, Chennai. The role requires managing the timely pickup and delivery of goods and documents while ensuring safe transportation and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and distribute products, documents, and materials to customers and vendors following scheduled routes.
- Safely handle and transport delivery items.
- Cross-check delivery items with invoices, delivery challans, and related paperwork.
- Obtain acknowledgement from customers along with delivery receipts and proof of delivery signatures.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and customer requirements with operations and sales teams.
- Maintain precise records of deliveries, collections, and any expenses incurred during operations.
- Manage basic cash and cheque collections and submit required documents when necessary.
- Adhere strictly to company transportation guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Promptly report any issues, delays, or customer complaints arising during deliveries.
- Uphold cleanliness and upkeep standards for the assigned vehicle.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: completion of 10th or 12th standard.
- Possession of a valid driving license for two-wheeler or four-wheeler vehicles.
- Familiar with local geography and competent in using navigation apps.
- Basic literacy to comprehend delivery-related documents.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with customers.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in delivery services, logistics, courier, or similar field operations is advantageous.
- Knowledge regarding the handling of sensitive or high-value items.
- Efficient time management and capacity to work independently.
- Proficiency with smartphones and common mobile apps.
