About the Role
Join THE MARCOM ENGINE at Serviceplan Group in Munich, a hub where process design, digital media, data science, experience design, app development, e-commerce, and project management come together to create an innovative customer journey management platform. This full-time role is part of a cross-disciplinary team developing data-driven marketing solutions for 26 international markets alongside a leading automobile manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy machine learning algorithms and models.
- Analyze data to extract patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
- Engage in projects connected to data management and AI agent processing.
- Collaborate closely with both internal teams and clients to build data-based solutions.
- Evaluate model performance and interpret statistical analyses and hypotheses.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and methodologies in data science and analytics.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data science models and procedures.
- Leverage machine learning and automation to scale analytic processes and speed insight generation.
- Develop sophisticated analytical models measuring marketing impact from media effectiveness to customer lifetime value.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team integrating data science, strategy, and automation to enhance marketing measurement and optimization.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
- Several years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Marketing Analyst, with strong emphasis on statistical modeling and marketing analytics, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Python programming skills with experience using relevant data libraries.
- Proficient in data query languages and managing various data types, including SQL, Redshift, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience applying machine learning techniques and automating workflows to enhance analytic efficiency.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data visualization tools like Quicksight, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Adept at translating complex statistical outcomes into clear strategic recommendations.
- Experience working with Digital Analytics platforms and marketing campaign datasets.
- Strong communication skills in both English and German languages.
- A proactive, curious, and collaborative approach.
- Understanding of information security principles and their practical application.
