About the Role
We are looking for a Data Annotation Specialist focused on working with Basic JSON content, providing support in training AI systems via audio rating and data validation. This contract position pays $25 per hour and is fully remote, open to candidates residing in the US or Canada. The project is expected to last 2-3 months with immediate start dates and flexible working hours. Top contributors often work 40+ hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Produce clear, natural English audio recordings adhering to specific project guidelines.
- Assess audio files for quality, accuracy, and nuanced content.
- Review AI-generated responses for correctness and quality standards.
- Examine JSON-formatted task data to validate, identify errors, and ensure proper formatting.
- Maintain consistent performance across a high volume of tasks.
- Flag ambiguous outputs and any inconsistencies with guidelines.
- Contribute to upholding quality benchmarks in AI training processes.
Requirements
- Must be a native English speaker with either a US or Canadian accent, speaking with clear pronunciation.
- Strong competency in reading, validating, and troubleshooting JSON data formats.
- Comfortable working with coding concepts and technical materials.
- Meticulous with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to strictly follow written instructions and guidelines.
- Quiet environment for recording with minimal background disturbance.
- Reliable computer equipment and internet connection to support remote work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in software engineering, quality assurance, technical writing, data annotation, transcription, or AI evaluation roles.
- Familiarity with structured datasets and review processes.
- Any prior involvement in voice or audio-related tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
