Job Overview and Working Conditions

This full-time position based in Houston, TX, requires working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, amounting to a 40-hour work week.

Primary Duties

• Engage collaboratively with clients and cross-functional teams to comprehend intricate business challenges and develop scalable analytical solutions that aid strategic decisions.
• Perform detailed analysis and interpretation of statistical data to solve business issues, converting raw data into actionable insights through advanced statistical approaches.
• Create predictive and exploratory models utilizing tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau, employing methods including machine learning, data mining, and sophisticated analytics.
• Plan and implement validation procedures to confirm the accuracy of models, alongside establishing automated workflows to maintain performance and stability of solutions.
• Oversee complete project lifecycles, applying project management techniques like defining scope, handling risks, and managing stakeholder communication.
• Lead user training, collect feedback from clients, generate comprehensive documentation, and formulate transition plans to facilitate effective deployment and knowledge transfer.
• Be prepared for up to 25% domestic travel across the USA to client locations as dictated by project and client demands.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Have at least three years of professional experience utilizing Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, Spark SQL, BigQuery, and working within Agile frameworks.
• Experience in ETL processes, SSIS, Airflow, advanced Excel techniques including pivot tables, and skills in data analysis, dashboard development, and real-time reporting.
