About the Company and Role

Join Vault Protective Security Services, a respected security provider in Western Australia known for delivering excellent service to the hospitality sector. Established in 2011, the company partners with well-known venues across the region. We are expanding our team in the Mandurah area, aiming to hire approachable, customer-oriented Crowd Controllers to ensure safety and a welcoming environment at local hospitality venues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a friendly and welcoming presence to patrons entering venues.
  • Manage entry by screening guests according to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards and venue policies.
  • Observe patron behaviour, employing communication and proactive de-escalation methods to defuse conflicts.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with colleagues using two-way radios.
  • Ensure venue safety for all guests and staff.
  • Accurately report incidents following established protocols.
  • Support emergency evacuations and administer first aid or CPR when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

  • Reside in or have reliable travel means to Mandurah venues.
  • Possess 3 to 6 months of practical experience in security or crowd control roles.
  • Hold a valid Western Australia Crowd Control license.
  • Hold valid First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol certificates.
  • Be comfortable with two-way radio communications.
  • Have legal eligibility to work in Australia.
  • Available to work weekend evenings.

Desired Qualifications

  • Living in Mandurah, Rockingham, or neighbouring southern suburbs.
  • Previous hospitality venue experience (pubs, bars, taverns).
  • Background in customer service or hospitality fields.
