Job description

Position Overview

There are two 12-month fixed-term vacancies for Court Registry Officers based in the Hawke's Bay region. The role involves working within a team to ensure the Court functions effectively, interacting with a variety of stakeholders such as applicants, respondents, family members, lawyers, Oranga Tamariki, Judges, and other judiciary members.

Key Duties

  • Facilitating court operations, including assisting Judges in the courtroom and chambers, and managing related administrative tasks.
  • Providing customer service through in-person, phone, and email channels at the court’s customer service hub.
  • Managing case files to ensure accuracy and current information, including substantial data entry responsibilities.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $60,729 to $80,794 annually, with starting pay commensurate with experience and skills. Higher salaries within the range are possible to attract qualified candidates.
