Role Overview
We seek a Cost Optimisation Product Manager responsible for transforming partner cost optimisation processes into a fully autonomous product. This role involves owning the entire product lifecycle—from conceptualization through delivery—focusing on replacing manual operations, automating problem resolution, and enhancing business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the complete product lifecycle including discovery, prioritization, specification, delivery, and iterative improvement.
- Analyze and map current manual operations related to partner analytics, escalations, write-offs, refunds, and chargebacks and eliminate them with product-driven solutions.
- Develop a product that automatically identifies cost-reduction opportunities, replacing manual reporting with real-time actionable insights.
- Create partner-facing workflows that resolve issues automatically without human involvement, including automated write-off processing, refund and chargeback handling, and payout adjustments.
- Define and implement key performance indicators such as cost per partner, manual task volume, resolution times, and revenue share trends to measure product effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and data teams by producing clear specifications, removing development obstacles, and managing the roadmap.
- Identify and adopt tools such as CRM automation, reporting pipelines, and workflow engines to minimize manual workload across teams.
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap with clear, quantifiable fiscal benefits.
Candidate Expectations
- Proficiency in English and Russian at C1 level is required; knowledge of Spanish or Mandarin is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated product management experience delivering internal tools, automation platforms, or operational products.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, formulate hypotheses, and validate them through implementation.
- Experience managing partner networks, marketplace operations, or vendor management as a product owner.
- Ability to convert complex operational challenges into well-defined product requirements.
- Advanced capability in Google Sheets and data tooling to prototype workflows before development.
- Background in finance, billing, or cost optimisation is highly desirable.
Benefits and Perks
- Full-time remote work opportunity.
- Salary details disclosed during recruitment and prior to employment commencement.
- 28 calendar days of annual vacation plus 7 wellness days per year usable for personal wellbeing without classifying as sick leave.
- Bonus incentives up to $5,000 for successful candidate referrals.
- Company covers 50% of the cost for professional training, international conferences, and meetings.
- Corporate discounts on English language courses.
- Health benefit compensation up to $1,000 gross annually if corporate medical insurance is not applicable; usable towards personal or family healthcare expenses.
- Provision or reimbursement for a well-equipped workplace setup—including furniture and internet costs—up to $1,000 gross once every three years.
- An internal gamified gratitude system allowing for earning and exchanging bonuses for merchandise, team activities, or wellness services.
