About the Role
The Content Creator will produce and refine high-quality video materials tailored for the Marketplace – Classified platform. This role requires close collaboration with video producers, social media teams, and sales managers to deliver captivating videos that reflect the company's marketing goals and uphold brand standards. Creativity, technical skill, and meticulous attention to detail are essential to produce visually engaging content that connects with the intended audience.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, visually coherent videos with smooth narrative flow.
- Apply color grading, correction, and advanced post-production techniques to enhance video quality.
- Integrate audio elements such as music, sound effects, and graphics to strengthen video appeal.
- Partner with creative teams to brainstorm video concepts aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Develop compelling visual stories that resonate effectively with targeted viewers.
- Coordinate with content strategists and marketing managers to align video outputs with overall marketing strategies.
- Customize videos for distinct digital platforms and audience demographics.
- Create motion graphics and animations to introduce dynamic and visually engaging components.
- Use animation technologies to boost storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Optimize video formatting and file sizes for efficient distribution and playback on various platforms.
- Ensure consistent quality and adherence to brand guidelines across all videos produced.
- Oversee multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors as needed.
- Analyze video metrics and user engagement data to find and apply opportunities for improvement.
- Stay informed on the latest trends, techniques, and tools in video editing to maintain high creative and technical standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Film, Digital Media, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.
- 2 to 3 years of professional background in video content creation and editing.
- A strong portfolio highlighting social media and promotional video projects.
- Proficiency in software including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
- Expertise in video editing, color correction, sound design, and foundational motion graphics.
- Experience producing short-format videos suitable for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Solid understanding of social media best practices and audience engagement strategy.
- Capability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet stringent deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
