Role Overview
As a Community Building Co-founder at YallaBizz, you will co-lead the global founder community's design, growth, and engagement initiatives in a full-time, remote role. Your responsibilities include onboarding and supporting founders, facilitating meaningful introductions, and managing collaborations via the platform’s Collab Bot and time-credit mechanisms. You will organize and moderate community rituals such as peer-learning circles, showcases, and working sessions aimed at boosting engagement and collaboration quality. Additionally, you will collect and analyze feedback and participation data to enhance community protocols, incentives, and workflows. Partnering closely with the founding team, you will contribute to content creation, marketing trials, and partnership development to attract high-potential founders, while shaping the organizational culture and long-term strategy for community management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent communication skills for facilitating discussions, managing online communities, and establishing trust among a diverse founder base and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess community engagement data and experimentation outcomes, converting insights into effective community enhancements.
- Proficient marketing and sales skills to attract, evaluate, and onboard promising founders, along with crafting compelling value propositions for YallaBizz.
- Research competencies to track ecosystem trends, chart startup communities, and inform programmatic decisions and partnership strategies.
- Prior experience in building or moderating digital or startup communities, founder networks, or peer-to-peer platforms is highly desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and ownership responsibilities typical of a co-founder role.
- Knowledge of early-stage startups, venture building, accelerators, or incubators is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously within a fully remote, distributed setting, coupled with excellent time management and teamwork skills.
