Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you'll collaborate with talented kitchen staff to produce high-quality dishes that ensure memorable dining for our guests. Your role is pivotal in supporting daily kitchen operations across various sections, focusing on food prep, presentation, hygiene, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and cooking food across multiple kitchen stations.
- Ensure every dish meets the hotel’s standards for preparation and presentation.
- Support senior chefs during peak service times.
- Maintain impeccable food hygiene and comply with HACCP guidelines.
- Manage proper food storage and stock rotation protocols.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safely maintained.
- Help with receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
- Foster a cooperative and positive kitchen atmosphere.
- Contribute to delivering outstanding guest dining experiences.
A Typical Day
Each day varies, involving ingredient preparation, assisting with meal services including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and learning new culinary techniques in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. You will work closely with the kitchen team and gain valuable exposure to different facets of hotel food operations, enhancing your culinary expertise continuously.
