Their solutions encompass AI-powered platforms for operations management, digital presence, customer engagement, revenue optimization, and more, aimed at making enterprise-level technology accessible and impactful across India and internationally.
Role Overview
This role is for a motivated, entrepreneurial Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who will join as a Co-Founder with equity participation. Rather than a typical salaried role, this position requires a hands-on technology leader with a strong product mindset, AI expertise, startup savvy, and a long-term ownership mentality to build a scalable SaaS platform from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement Vedika’s long-term technology vision and architecture, creating secure, highly scalable SaaS platforms.
- Lead full lifecycle product development including MVP creation, backend/frontend architecture, API design, mobile app development, database structuring, cloud deployment, testing, and ongoing platform monitoring.
- Build and maintain engineering standards, development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and security protocols.
- Drive AI and automation development initiatives involving generative AI, large language models, conversational AI, intelligent automation, AI-powered CRM and SEO, recommendation systems, predictive analytics, and business intelligence.
- Collaborate closely with founders, hospitality stakeholders, and customers to translate real industry problems into tech solutions, champion rapid experimentation balanced with engineering discipline.
- Participate in startup leadership activities such as company strategy, hiring and mentoring engineers, customer engagement, investor presentations, and partnership development.
- Evaluate new technologies, manage build vs buy decisions, and ensure cost-effective, sustainable AI infrastructure.
Required Experience and Expertise
- Proven background as a CTO, technical co-founder, VP/head of engineering, architect, or senior full-stack engineer with strong product delivery experience.
- Experience in AI technologies including generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, NLP, agentic AI systems, and machine learning.
- Strong software engineering skills with expertise in backend and frontend technologies such as Node.js, Python, React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and API integrations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization (Docker), DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, microservices, and security architecture.
- Familiarity with AI platforms/frameworks like OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Anthropic, Google Gemini, and vector databases is advantageous.
- Startup experience and familiarity with SaaS product development, AI-first application building, and hospitality or travel technology domains is preferred.

Compensation and Equity
This opportunity is primarily equity-based with meaningful co-founder equity and long-term ownership potential. Initial compensation is equity-focused with future salary contingent on company milestones and growth. Terms of equity vesting, responsibilities, and remuneration will be negotiated transparently.
