Club 33 Event Design & Delivery Manager

Overview

The Premium Services division delivers exclusive experiences to Disney's most devoted guests. The Event Design & Delivery Manager for Club 33 is responsible for crafting and executing unique membership events that enhance and enrich the value of the Club 33 Premium Services. This role encompasses honoring Walt Disney World's legacy while integrating fresh, innovative experiences into membership activities. You will collaborate with diverse teams across Walt Disney World such as Disney Event Group, Park Operations, Resort Operations, Merchandise, Consumer Products, and Premium Services leadership to ensure exceptional event delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate a multi-year event schedule to align with Club 33's strategic goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create memorable moments that reinforce membership value.
• Continuously innovate annual experiences to boost member satisfaction within a loyal customer base.
• Maintain strong partnerships with operational and business units to integrate new experiences into events.
• Work alongside lounge and culinary teams to enhance in-lounge offerings that increase attendance and revenue.
• Manage event pricing, budgeting, and profitability aligned with business objectives, demonstrating sound financial oversight.
• Coordinate with Merchandise, Business Affairs, and procurement for event-specific merchandise or giveaways.
• Organize travel experiences beyond the Walt Disney World property, including logistics and partner coordination.
• Present event strategies and plans to senior leadership and executive teams as needed.
• Handle contracts, venue bookings, food & beverage, audiovisual, entertainment, transportation, and other event logistics.
• Partner with communications and registration teams to facilitate event announcements and participation processes.
• Foster collaboration across all departments and nurture creative problem-solving approaches.
• Lead and develop one direct report, providing coaching and growth opportunities.
• Explore unique methods to engage members both locally and remotely using technology and diverse experiences.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in event planning, event services, or catering operations.
• Familiarity with Walt Disney World operational standards and procedures.
• Proven track record managing project workflows and budgets effectively.
• Skill in organizing planning sessions and managing multiple timelines.
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients and partners.
• Professional handling of confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to influence teams and deliver results collaboratively.
• Proficiency with event planning technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication ability, including public speaking and presentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring direct or indirect reports.
• Background in luxury resort or private membership club operations.
• Strong knowledge of Walt Disney Company's heritage and current landscape.
• Experience in communications, marketing, or event sales.
• Comfortable hosting events and on-camera presence.
• Experience in food & beverage and event production enhancements.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
• Associate’s degree or higher is preferred.

The salary range for this position in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, is between $83,000 and $111,200 annually. Compensation is determined based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Additional bonuses or long-term incentives may be included depending on the role level.
