Job description

Role Overview

As an integral member of the regional team, you will play a vital part in delivering outstanding service to both new and existing clients within the SME portfolio. Collaborating across different business units to ensure a smooth and positive experience for clients will be a key focus. This position is a 12-month parental leave cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire client journey, coordinating closely with Claims teams and Aon Business Services to provide timely and efficient support.
  • Manage a focused portfolio of SME clients with standard product requirements, assisting in client planning alongside Client Directors and Managers.
  • Lead renewal and mid-term discussions by offering timely and precise advice aligned to the clients' needs.
  • Improve systems and processes to boost efficiency, scalability, compliance, and enrich both colleague and client experiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts employing data insights and industry best practices to guarantee consistent, quality outcomes.
  • Encourage proactive risk management and conduct by identifying and mitigating operational, privacy, and third-party risks encountered in daily work.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Possess a client-first approach, genuinely caring about delivering excellent outcomes and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain insurance concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Show strong organizational and time management capabilities to handle various tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder demands in a dynamic environment.
  • Value a collaborative team environment, working effectively with Claims, ABS, and other internal colleagues to support the client journey.
  • Have commercial awareness with an interest in business and risk, capable of understanding client needs and matching them with suitable solutions.
  • Approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset, proactively following up and resolving issues efficiently for clients and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability, maintaining composure under pressure and embracing change with a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Hold a Level 5 Fire and General Insurance Qualification, which is a mandatory requirement.
