Job Overview
The company seeks a dependable and trained Pool Technician to join their workforce. This role centers on cleaning, sustaining, and servicing pools to keep them safe, operational, and pleasant for clients.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine pool cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, skimming, brushing surfaces, and emptying debris baskets.
- Continuously monitor and adjust water chemistry to meet health and safety regulations.
- Examine, maintain, and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, and heaters.
- Identify and report any repairs needed, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, especially when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Provide courteous and professional customer interactions during site visits.
Essential Qualifications
- Effective communication skills in English or local language.
- Physical fitness to work outdoors under diverse weather conditions.
- Dependability, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation is preferred.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in pool maintenance or related roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of key pool systems such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical dosing techniques.
- Competence in testing and balancing pool water parameters (pH, chlorine, alkalinity).
- Familiarity with pool cleaning equipment including vacuums, skimmers, and brushes.
- Basic troubleshooting abilities to handle equipment issues like clogged filters, pump failures, or leaks.
- Preferred certification includes Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or an equivalent local qualification.
