Civil Site Engineer

Job Overview

Krestone Projects is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to manage Telangana Government building assignments in Adilabad. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in building works and supervisory expertise throughout various construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of ongoing civil construction activities on site.
• Accurately take off quantities from construction drawings on schedule.
• Perform design calculations and cost estimations focused on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors, vendors, and site workers to enhance project progress.
• Supervise labor force across multiple site tasks ensuring adherence to plans.
• Ensure strict compliance with drawings and tender specifications; report any deviations promptly to the Project Manager.
• Monitor quality assurance and precision of on-site work.
• Evaluate material rates and minimize wastage prudently.
• Estimate quantities for structural materials including steel, concrete, and others.
• Prepare Running Account (R.A) bills, cash bills, and final settlements according to project milestones.
• Inspect rectification work both structural and finishing; review daily progress, resource consumption, and labor costs.
• Maintain daily oversight of departmental labor deployment.
• Supervise centering and concreting operations to ensure optimal results.
• Discuss execution challenges with the Project Manager or Engineer and propose practical solutions.
• Communicate essential information to junior engineers and contractors efficiently.
• Maximize productivity of all junior staff and laborers onsite.
• Promote safety protocols and ensure contractors and junior engineers adhere to them.
• Ensure site security and cleanliness at all levels.
• Collect relevant drawings from architects or consultants.
• Execute any additional responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.

Candidate Profile

• Diploma qualified in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong grasp of fundamental civil and structural engineering concepts and terminology.
• Ability to perform or oversee foundation strength and adequacy testing.
• Capabilities to independently handle civil works and ensure their conformity with project requirements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings accurately.
• Ensures all construction materials and workmanship meet required specifications.
• Experience in reviewing technical designs and drawings for compliance.
