Built on a strong local manufacturing background and now expanding across the country, the organisation is moving through a significant operational change programme.

To support that evolution, they are looking for a commercially driven Chief Operating Officer to guide the next phase of improvements across manufacturing, supply chain and operations.

About the role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Chief Operating Officer will oversee the entire operational platform, including procurement, supply chain, production, warehousing, logistics and safety.

The role is central to lifting efficiency, simplifying complex processes, and creating a manufacturing and supply chain model that can scale more effectively.

The main priorities for success are:

• Less dependence on local manufacturing by expanding offshore production partnerships throughout Asia
• Better supply chain performance, clearer visibility, and stronger delivery outcomes
• Tighter quality assurance across both domestic and overseas manufacturing

Key responsibilities

• Direct the operations portfolio spanning manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, warehousing, logistics and workplace safety
• Design and implement an offshore manufacturing plan with reliable supplier partners across Asia
• Upgrade supply chain workflows, planning tools, systems and delivery reliability
• Build stronger quality control processes for suppliers, production output and finished products
• Coach and lead the operations leadership group to foster accountability and a high-performing culture
• Partner with the Managing Director and executive team to ensure operational priorities support broader business objectives

About you

You are a practical, commercially astute operations leader with a solid background in manufacturing, supply chain and supplier-managed production settings.

You should bring strong experience in working with offshore suppliers, ideally within Asia, along with a track record of improving supply performance and lowering operating costs. A deep understanding of quality control, supplier oversight and production planning is essential, as is experience leading teams across warehousing, logistics, procurement and manufacturing. You will also need confidence engaging with executive stakeholders and a strong commercial mindset.
