Role overview
The Change Management Analyst will support users and stakeholders as they move to new social service systems, with a strong focus on case management platforms replacing older legacy tools. This role centers on enabling adoption through disciplined change management methods.
This position follows a hybrid working model. Depending on business needs, you will be expected to work from a client or Cognizant office for 3 to 4 days each week. The arrangement is designed to support flexibility while maintaining work-life balance through wellbeing programs.
What you will do
- Help drive user adoption during system and process transitions.
- Work with stakeholders to address resistance to change and support transformation efforts.
- Develop communication plans and tailor change messaging for different audiences.
- Coordinate engagement activities that improve awareness and buy-in.
- Plan or support training programs, user enablement sessions, and learning materials.
- Use structured change management approaches and apply recognized best practices.
- Review how changes affect people and processes, then create mitigation actions where needed.
- Collaborate closely with product, technical, business, and training teams to support implementation success.
Requirements
- Practical experience helping users adopt new systems and guiding stakeholders through change.
- Background in managing resistance and contributing to transformation initiatives.
- Experience preparing communication plans and audience-specific change messages.
- Ability to design, coordinate, or support training and user support resources.
- Good understanding of formal change management frameworks and standard practices.
- Experience on large-scale implementation or transformation programs is an advantage.
- Exposure to public sector environments is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively across business, technical, product, and training groups.
- Capability to evaluate change impacts and define targeted risk or resistance mitigation plans.
