Role Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to accurately and efficiently execute customer-requested transactions—such as remittances, cash handling, checks, and other financial processes—adhering strictly to company guidelines and compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers at the counter or lobby, ensuring they feel appreciated.
• Deliver service excellence to both retail and commercial clients following prescribed company standards.
• Communicate transaction policies and regulations clearly and professionally.
• Offer customers guidance about Al Rostamani products and services when needed.
• Work towards minimizing customer wait and service times, continuously improving turnaround times.
• Direct customers to appropriate departments or personnel for queries and special services.
• Maintain optimal profit margins on transactions and identify cross-selling opportunities.
• Promote acquisition of new customers by converting walk-ins into IntroCard holders.
• Handle foreign currency, remittances, and other financial transactions flawlessly under branch management oversight.
• Follow company policies relating to cash handling, maintain precise cash balances, and promptly report discrepancies.
• Apply due diligence to mitigate risks by adhering to anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations.
• Identify and suggest operational improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure all transaction documentation meets internal and regulatory standards.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience

• Graduate degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline.
• Minimum two years experience as a cashier or teller.
• Experience managing large volumes of cash is advantageous.

Essential Skills

• Proficient with basic computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
• Solid numerical and quantitative aptitude.
