Role Overview

The Cashier will be responsible for managing daily cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and keeping precise records of payments. Key duties include operating the billing system, reconciling cash and accounts at day-end, and guaranteeing adherence to company policies during transactions. The role requires assisting customers with billing questions, liaising with accounts or sales teams for payment issues, and safeguarding cash and financial documents. This position demands full-time on-site presence in Ahmednagar and close teamwork with local staff.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven skills in cash handling, billing, and POS system operation with strong attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and record-keeping including transaction reconciliation and accurate data entry.
• Strong communication and customer service skills to address billing inquiries and resolve concerns.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in office software such as spreadsheets and billing applications; familiarity with the textile or trading industry is advantageous.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Ahmednagar, demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and maintaining confidentiality and integrity in financial matters.
• Prior experience as a cashier, accounts assistant, or related role preferred; educational background in commerce, finance, or business is beneficial.
