Role Summary
The Care Coordinator is integral in aligning services to meet client and staff needs by managing scheduling and planning efficiently. Effective communication with clients, their families, and staff is essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain weekly schedules and allocate hours for the caregiving team
- Continuously update customer schedules
- Maintain clear communication channels with staff, next of kin, and customers to convey changes promptly
- Coordinate closely with caregivers to assign appropriate personnel to clients
- Manage various types of staff leave, ensuring coverage as needed
- Handle inbound calls professionally
- Report any staffing capacity issues to management
- Monitor and improve scheduling practices to ensure adherence to Employment Law
- Provide on-call support outside regular hours
- Deliver care aligned with InisCare policies, respecting dignity, privacy, and client independence
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred
- Possession or pursuit of QQI Level 5 Health Care Award or equivalent advantageous but not mandatory
- Proficient verbal and written communication abilities
- Effective time management and multitasking capabilities
- Problem-solving aptitude for addressing emerging issues
- Accuracy in data entry, scheduling, and document handling
- Strong customer service orientation

Experience
0-2 years of administrative or data entry experience is preferred; prior healthcare experience is a plus.
Employment Details and Benefits
- Full-time position based in Bray office, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- On-call support duties during out-of-hours periods
- Competitive starting salary from €32,000 annually
- Mileage reimbursement at €0.44 per km or option to use a company vehicle
