Position Overview
We are seeking a commercially-focused Business Development Manager or Country Sales Manager to lead B2B sales growth, spearhead new business initiatives, and nurture key customer relationships across Africa and the GCC regions. This opportunity exists within a prominent international company specializing in industrial chemicals and petrochemicals.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Drive business development and increase sales within the industrial chemicals sector including petrochemicals, solvents, lubricants, base oils, polymers, specialty chemicals, and paints & coatings.
- Leverage an established customer network and sales portfolio to expand market presence.
- Successfully acquire new clients while managing and expanding current key accounts.
- Engage with manufacturers, distributors, and industrial end users as part of the sales strategy.
- Possess strong technical knowledge regarding industrial chemical products and their applications.
- Hold relevant qualifications such as Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Business, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Have a minimum of five years of B2B sales experience within industrial chemicals or related fields.
- Be prepared for extensive travel and have a personal vehicle, laptop, and a functional home office setup.
