Role Overview

We seek an accomplished Business Development Lead responsible for expanding DiMuto's market presence by nurturing relationships, effectively communicating our value proposition, and closing sales across our suite of solutions—DiMutoClear, DiMutoPay, and PQAI. This remote, client-facing position requires strong communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in leveraging AI technologies to enhance efficiency. The candidate will manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure, represent the company at key industry trade shows, and simplify complex technologies to convey clear customer benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complete business development processes: sourcing, engaging, and converting prospects including growers, traders, importers/exporters, and financiers.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations to a variety of audiences, including clients, partners, and investors, both virtually and face-to-face.
  • Act as DiMuto's representative at major fresh produce trade events such as Fruit Logistica, Asia Fruit Logistica, IFPA, Macfrut, and other regional exhibitions, fostering relationships and generating leads.
  • Develop proposals, pitch materials, and follow-up content focused on value proposition, driving successful deal closures.
  • Maintain and grow a robust sales pipeline, monitor opportunity progress, and provide detailed reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with product and leadership teams to relay market insights for strategic development.
  • Utilize AI solutions (e.g., Claude) to speed up research, draft documents, create decks, conduct market analysis, and increase outreach effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum three years’ experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or other client-centric commercial roles, preferably within agri-trade, supply chain, SaaS, fintech, or B2B tech industries.
  • Outstanding presentation and verbal communication skills, adept at engaging customers, partners, and senior stakeholders persuasively.
  • Excellent written communication abilities to independently produce professional decks, proposals, and emails.
  • Proven familiarity and fluency in using AI platforms like Claude or ChatGPT to enhance productivity across research, content creation, and analysis.
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity while operating remotely and managing pipelines across multiple time zones.
  • Willingness and capability to travel within the region and internationally for trade exhibitions and meetings.
  • Strong passion for technology, agriculture, and advancing digital solutions to trade challenges.
